1. Scope
These notices supplement the Privacy Policy only where the identified law applies to LumiTalk and the relevant processing. Thresholds, exemptions, business roles, and the nature of the interaction may affect coverage.
2. United States state rights
Certain U.S. state laws may provide rights to confirm processing, access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of personal information and to opt out of defined sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling.
- LumiTalk does not currently enable an advertising-cookie category on the public website.
- Optional analytics requires consent and may be withdrawn.
- LumiTalk does not use website or demo information to make independent decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.
3. California disclosures
California rights and disclosures depend on whether LumiTalk meets applicable statutory scope and whether an exemption applies. California residents may use the public request process for access, correction, deletion, categories, and applicable opt-outs. LumiTalk will not unlawfully discriminate for exercising a protected right.
4. Browser opt-out signals
LumiTalk recognizes detected Global Privacy Control signals by keeping optional analytics off. Do Not Track is not a uniform legal or technical standard and does not trigger a separate site response.
5. EEA, UK, and Switzerland
Where European or UK data-protection law applies, processing may rely on consent, steps requested before a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with law, or legitimate interests assessed against individual rights. The relevant basis depends on the purpose and relationship.
- Consent may be withdrawn for future processing.
- Objections or restrictions may be available in defined circumstances.
- A complaint may be submitted to an applicable supervisory authority.
6. International transfers
LumiTalk and its providers may process information in the United States or other countries. Where a restricted international transfer mechanism is legally required, it must be established in the applicable customer or provider agreement; this public notice does not create an unverified transfer certification.
7. Canada
Where Canadian privacy law applies, individuals may request access or correction and may challenge compliance through LumiTalk’s contact process. Consent and reasonable-purpose requirements depend on the jurisdiction and context.
8. Requests and verification
Use Your Privacy Choices to submit a request. LumiTalk may verify identity, authority, jurisdiction, and the relationship involved before acting, and may apply lawful exemptions or retain records required for security, disputes, or compliance.
9. Updates
LumiTalk will revise these notices when its processing, geographic scope, or applicable legal obligations materially change. Customer-specific processing remains governed by the customer’s notice and signed agreement.
