1. Overview
This Cookie Policy explains how LumiTalk uses cookies, local storage, scripts, and related technologies on the public website. Read it with the Privacy Policy, which covers the broader handling of personal information.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text values a website asks a browser to store. First-party cookies are set for the domain you visit; third-party technologies may be provided by another company. Session values ordinarily expire when the browser session ends, while persistent values remain until their stated duration, deletion, or replacement. Scripts, pixels, and local storage can perform related functions even when they are not technically cookies.
3. Categories used on this website
| Category | Purpose | Choice |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Remember privacy choices, protect forms from abuse, deliver requested pages, and support features you actively use. | Always active where needed. |
| Analytics | Measure page use, navigation, campaign attribution, and selected interactions so LumiTalk can improve the site. | Off until accepted; may be withdrawn. |
| Advertising | Cross-site profiling, targeted advertising, or ad personalization. | Not currently enabled by LumiTalk on this website. |
4. Current cookie and technology inventory
| Name or provider | Category | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
lumitalk_cookie_consent | Essential | Stores this browser’s analytics choice, consent version, save time, and choice source. | 180 days |
_ga and _ga_<measurement-id> | Analytics | Google Analytics distinguishes browser sessions and measures website use after consent. | Up to 2 years, subject to configuration and browser controls |
| Google Analytics script and requests | Analytics | Loads only after permission and sends configured page and interaction measurements to Google. | While permission remains active; provider records follow applicable settings |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Essential when a protected form is used | Evaluates whether a contact submission is legitimate and helps prevent automated abuse. | Short-lived or provider-controlled security values |
| Session attribution storage | Essential/local session storage | Temporarily preserves referral and campaign parameters during the browser session for a requested contact or booking. | Browser session |
Durations may be shortened by browser settings, provider changes, deletion, or privacy controls. This inventory does not cover a customer’s separately configured LumiTalk service or another site reached through a link.
5. Third-party features you choose to use
The site may open or display Google Calendar and Google Meet scheduling, Cloudflare Turnstile, and other requested third-party functions. Those providers may process device, account, security, or scheduling information under their own notices. A signed-in Google user may already have Google cookies that LumiTalk did not create. Rejecting LumiTalk analytics does not delete cookies created independently on another provider’s domain.
6. Change or withdraw your choice
Use Cookie settings at any time. Rejecting optional analytics prevents future LumiTalk analytics loading and directs the site to disable measurement and remove accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies. A provider-controlled record already sent with prior consent is handled under the applicable retention settings and Privacy Policy.
Your choice is stored in this browser. If you clear cookies, use another browser or device, or browse privately, you may need to choose again.
7. Global Privacy Control
When this site detects an enabled Global Privacy Control signal, it keeps optional analytics off in that browser. Analytics cannot be switched on while the signal remains active. LumiTalk may also process legally required opt-out requests submitted through its contact page when applicable.
8. Browser and device controls
Most browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies and clear site storage. Blocking all storage can prevent the site from remembering your preference and may interfere with protected forms or scheduling. Browser extensions and network-level content blockers may provide additional controls.
9. Changes to this policy
LumiTalk may update this policy when site functionality, vendors, retention settings, or legal requirements change. A material change to optional purposes may require a renewed choice. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
10. Contact
Questions about this policy or a privacy choice may be submitted through the LumiTalk contact page. Do not send passwords or private keys.
